Hero Arts - September 2022 My Monthly Hero Blog Hop + GIVEAWAY

Hey there Arties!! I’m happy you have stopped by for the release day blog hop and video for the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero September 2022!

Autumn is a whisper in the air, with hints of cooler weather, falling leaves, and rich colors. Our September My Monthly Hero release takes an elegant path into fall, featuring a gorgeous vase of fall blooms as the focal point for your cards and projects. There’s also a fun new element this month - rub-ons! Use them for quick and easy cards; the coordinating die in the kit perfectly cuts out the rub-on floral arrangement as well as the stamped images. Or try the rub-ons on any smooth surface. The kit is rounded out with a gorgeous new cling stamp, metallic floss and the perfect neutral cardstocks for stamping your autumn-inspired creations.

Steps for Creating this Card

  1. First, I hot foiled half a sheet of the deluxe smooth cardstock with the Fall Leaves Hot Foil Plate and some gold foil.

  2. Then, I trimmed it down to a 4 x 5.25” panel and popped it up over an A2-sized Dove White card base.

  3. Next, I die cut two ovals out of Pitch Black Cardstock and some gold cardstock I had in my stash.

  4. After that, I ran the black oval through my die cutting machine with Fall Leaves Cover Plate Die.

  5. Then, I stamped “you’re amazing” from the Message Strips Stamp & Cut XL set out on some white cardstock with Intense Black Ink and trimmed it down to a strip.

  6. Finally, I stacked everything up with foam tape and Precision Glue.
